Interior designer and gallerist Leonides Rosa Molinar and painter Mark Vinsun founded Leonides Arts NY in
1997 originally under the name of Atelier Arts NY. From the outset the mission of Leonides Arts has been to feature the work of fresh, bold, and unique contemporary artists based in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean focusing primarily in painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.

Since its inception LeonidesArts has forged a vigorous association in the New York art scene. With landmark exhibitions presented both here in the US and the Caribbean, and a growing list of admires, supporters, collectors, and critics, LeonidesArts now represents the work of photographer Terrence Benjamin, and painters Ricardo Osmondo Francis, Juan Kurtzman, and Mark Vinsun worldwide.

Presently LeonidesArts is located in midtown Manhattan (Hell’s Kitchen) where since 2009 has established
itself as an unlikely destination for contemporary art lovers in the New York City area. Along with presenting
new exhibits the gallery also has participated in a number of International Art Fairs such as Art Shanghai 2008
in Shanghai,China, Art Basel in Miami, Fl 2008, and the First and second International Caribbean art fair 2007,
and 2008 in NYC.
